Join us for a fun afternoon of film and discussion with screenings of titles from our Kanopy Collection. Whether you consider yourself an amateur film critic or are someone who just enjoys watching movies, you are welcome to join our Afternoon Film Club. Come watch and discuss a variety of thought-provoking films from around the world. Popcorn will be provided.
This month we will be screening "Lynch/Oz". The themes, images, and cultural vernacular of Victor Fleming’s The Wizard of Oz continue to haunt David Lynch’s filmography. Arguably, no filmmaker has so consistently drawn inspiration—consciously or unconsciously—from a single work. Through six distinct perspectives, Alexandre O. Philippe’s LYNCH/OZ helps us reexperience and reinterpret The Wizard of Oz by way of David Lynch, delivering new appreciations of both.
Please note films may contain mature subject matters and are intended for an older audience.
