Join The Brave Canoe as they incorporate Indigenous Hand drums and teachings into a movement-themed workshop.
Incorporating Indigenous Hand drums and teachings into a movement-themed workshop for our Asiniin (little rocks) adds cultural richness and provides an opportunity to introduce them to Indigenous traditions and values. Working collaboratively in activities like drum circles encourages social interaction and cooperation. Children learn to listen to others, take turns, and respect different perspectives, promoting empathy and communication skills.
Recommended for ages 0 to 6.
Everyone attending must register as space is limited.
Due to the popularity of our programs, please cancel if you are unable to attend. This way more people from the community are able to join. Thank you for being a good neighbour.
