Join us on a multi-session 3D modelling adventure and take your skills beyond TinkerCAD to more sophisticated CAD software! If you’ve already gotten your feet wet with basic 3D modelling and would like to expand your parametric design skills, this is the program for you. We will be using free web-based software called ONshape but the skills involved will be transferable to other 3D CAD software as well. In our first 2 sessions we will be modelling parts and the final session we will combine those parts into an assembly and create a labelled CAD drawing with a BOM table. Attendance at all 3 sessions is required and some previous 3D modelling experience is recommended.
Due to the time constraints of the program, we will not be printing anything during the program, but participants are welcome to bring a USB storage device to save their designs to continue to work on or print them at a later date.
