The Butterfly Bereavement Project invites individuals of all ages to personalize a butterfly to honour their own grief experience as they remember people in their lives who have died. Each butterfly will become a part of a commemorative art installation of butterflies that have been created as expressions of grief, love and loss.
This project aims to educate the Dufferin/Caledon community on bereavement supports that are available, directly supports bereaved individuals, and increases awareness of National Grief and Bereavement Day (November 17) and Children's Grief Awareness Day (November 19).
